Horse Lords make a triumphant return to the US for their first live shows in five years with (almost) two weeks of shows in March 2024, including a tour finale at Big Ears Festival. Making it a true RVNG family affair, Ka Baird will open all dates. All shows below.

Open the door, open up your door🚪👁️🚪 Today we welcome New York born, Berlin based musician and multi-media artist JJ Weihl, aka Discovery Zone, to the RVNG fam with the gift of new music in the form of “Ur Eyes.” find wherever dreams stream, and unlock this next dimension of self-transformation in the video created by JJ and James Barry.
Today Kate NV shares a video for “confessions at the dinner table” from WOW, her ecstatic, deliriously fun fourth album released earlier this year. Directed by Vladimir “Vova” Shlokov, whom Kate collaborated with on several other videos from WOW, depicts a frantic meatball traversing the treacherous landscape of a dinner table before taking a kitchen sink bath and and infinite tumble down a staircase. What else would you expect?
Kate and Vova also collaborated on a throwback, browser-based video game being shared today. According to Kate in an interview published by METAL this morning, “Games are a way to escape reality, and a game in which you wash dishes seemed ridiculous to me… washing dishes actually became a comfort zone where you can accomplish something simple and familiar and have a little bit of control with some immediate results.” Zone out in the zen of dishwashing here.
Finally, Kate returns to the US for another string of dates in September and October, including a show at The Knitting Factory in NYC on Wednesday, September 20 with label mates Ka Baird and Diatom Deli as part of RVNG’s There’s No Time Like No Time celebrations, and a festival appearance at Making Time ∞ on Sunday, September 23. Top o’ the month to you. We’re taking a moment to make sure you have a full view, and ears full, of all the music we’ve had the incredible honor of sharing so far this year. It’s been another wild one here, but we’d truly have it no other way. There’s too much good music being made, and it’s our mission to serve and project.
Today also corresponds with Bandcamp Friday, which means the site is waiving its fees, making our music more affordable to you. We know we release *a lot* of music, and that’s in part because we are a small, independent record label. Music is our means to survival, at every level. We really do appreciate even the single track downloads that pop up on our sales feed on these Fridays and beyond.
A look behind the scenes of Sign Libra’s video for “Le Chat,” filmed at the Mentzendorff House in the old town of her native Riga and the Rundale Palace Garden in the small southern town of Pilsrundale, Latvia, designed by famed Italian architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli. Sign Libra’s outfit was inspired by Mylène Farmer’s costume in her video for “Libertine.” Fur those curious, that cat’s name is Milosha, and they were prrrr-fect on the set. ♎️ 🐈 💙
