Sugai Ken's UkabazUmorezU Turns (almost) Six

Released (almost) six years ago, Sugai Ken’s UkabazUmorezU = 不浮不埋. A cerebral ceremony of traditional Japanese music’s communion with environment, Ken conjured an experience unlike any previous entry in the RVNG catalog and one that truly pushed the label’s sound forward. UkabazUmorezU roughly translates to “slow and steady wins the race,” which seems to be Ken’s modus operandi for delivering his RVNG follow up 😉 😉 😉 (<3 you, Ken!)

SEASON: A letter to the future - Shipping Now

Spencer Doran’s (Visible Cloaks) original soundtrack for SEASON: a letter to the future, the widely embraced and beloved meditative exploration game released earlier this year, is out today in limited clear + standard black double LP editions + import CD via Plancha 🚲 📷

Much respect to Spencer for the direction and immersion in all of SEASON’s sounds, Kevin Sullivan, for creating the world through which Estelle and the player journey, Will Work For Good for the expert design, and Scavengers Studio for making the entire experience possible.

Pauline Ann Strom "Cult of Isis"

“Cult of Isis” was originally released in 1982 on Pauline Anna Strom’s debut album Trans-Millennia Consort. For our forthcoming collection Echoes, Spaces, Lines, Pauline’s first three albums (and an unheard fourth from the era) were remixed under her guidance by Marta Salogni from the original tapes and remastered by Anne Taegert at Dubplates & Mastering. Close your eyes and listen wherever you prefer.
