Following the 2022 release of in february, an enchanting collection of music made from loops of unexpected recordings by Turkish musician and sound designer Isik Kural, arrives the peaches EP. Conceived alongside, and in the instance of “lo si aspetta” taken from, the twelve passages that formed in february, peaches removes Isik’s unmistakable vocals, prominent on the album, for a fluid reflection of the impressionistic world that the artist inhabits and creates. The four pieces of peaches offer an invitation to revisit a sunrise from a past time well-lived, or imagine the sunset of a future memory.
