It was about time Tim Sweeney’s long-orbiting radio show was memorialized in some fashion. If you’re of this planet, the fashion we felt most befitting adorns the region of the body between the neck and waist. Ladies and gentlemen, Beats In Space, the first official t-shirt (TS04).
For the past 9 years, Tim has manned the decks at NYU’s basement studio every Tuesday night selecting DJs from around the block and globe for interviews and sets that transcend the earthly airwaves to a higher broadcasting conscious. If you don’t know the cosmic religion that is Beats In Space, we urge you to spend some time here:
Once Tim got a thick flick of his influence to poke through our zone-drome cones, Kevin O’Neill came up with a mind-bending, two color design. This t-shirt does indeed say Beats In Space – whether you’re on the same drugs we are or not.
We used environment-friendly, non-toxic, water-based paints printed on white AA BB401 50/50 Poly-Cotton t-shirts. None of that plastisol paint, 100% cotton, box cut fit shit here. These t-shirts breeeeeathe. Packaged in a 12-3/4 x 12-3/4, 3 mil LP poly bag that we hope you can re-use. Maybe pop one of those long gone Flying Squad 12″s in there.
