“Sound Scribbles is an ongoing accumulation of improvisations whose genesis is similar to singing in the shower or making a prank phone call. The structure of these songs meander like a kid’s made-up story – logic can about-face, and in an instant, turn on itself. Humor, nonsense, and absurdity are loud, but sometimes the motoric, chanted pulses of these songs reveal a love of classical, modern classical, and extended vocal technique”
