Echoes, Spaces, Lines – NYC Listening Event – 11/02/2023

Today we share “Alpine Flight,” from Pauline Anna Strom’s 1984 album Spectre. For Pauline’s third album, “sounds were culled from concrete, glass, and steel, from cold arctic temperatures and elusive spacious voices.” Perhaps our favorite album at RVNG HQ.

Spectre is included on Echoes, Spaces, Lines, our forthcoming collection of Pauline’s first three albums (and an unheard fourth from the era), remixed under her guidance by Marta Salogni from the original tapes and remastered by Anne Taegert at Dubplates Mastering.
