Echoes, Spaces, Lines – NYC Listening Event – 11/02/2023

Today we share “Alpine Flight,” from Pauline Anna Strom’s 1984 album Spectre. For Pauline’s third album, “sounds were culled from concrete, glass, and steel, from cold arctic temperatures and elusive spacious voices.” Perhaps our favorite album at RVNG HQ.

Spectre is included on Echoes, Spaces, Lines, our forthcoming collection of Pauline’s first three albums (and an unheard fourth from the era), remixed under her guidance by Marta Salogni from the original tapes and remastered by Anne Taegert at Dubplates Mastering.

If you are in NYC next Thursday, November 2, we are hosting a listening event for Echoes, Spaces, Lines at In Sheep’s Clothing. Come listen to Pauline’s music on an insane sound system and pick up an early copy of the LP or CD box set. 🦎🌌
