7FO's Water Falls Into A Blank is Out Now!

7FO’s Water Falls Into A Blank resurfaces today after a decade deep immersion.

Water is the source of all life, big and obvious, small and strange. Water runs in all directions, its sensual path falling into nothing, forming an everything. Where water stills or swirls is a space for centering and contemplation, a place to dislodge the mind’s confused complexes and propel them into the world.

7FO’s music produces such a space, like diving into a tranquil lake. Weaving between spontaneous energy eruptions and extended moments of meditation, he creates a rejuvenating wash of life, a plunge through curious, quiet, humorous depths. With his universe of trickling textures and blissful bubbles, 7FO immerses us in the aqueous essence of our being — the afterimages of life, and life before life.

Water Falls Into A Blank was first issued 10 years ago as an ultra-limited run of nine LPs and a cassette, part of a collaboration between 7FO and the extraordinary artist Nick Ozgunay / Annexe. This 10 year edition marks the first time this truly special album is available digitally and as a CD edition from Plancha, sharing N. Kawata’s wonderful, wondrous world in a wider way.

Perhaps the sounds of water can wash away the elements blocking truth, returning us to our selves, and each other.
