This labor day weekend, RVNG/Commend is joining efforts to support Houston. We’ll be collecting goods (mini toiletries, dental hygiene essentials, first aid items, pads & tampons, diapers, socks & underwear) to send via the New Hamilton Beach Civic Association. We’ll also be donating 10% of the weekend’s sales at Commend to Harvey relief. Thank you to our friends Rachel Barnhart (Soap Library) and Lauren Willson (who will be donating 100% of proceeds from her Salve sales in-store) for activating this effort!
while we realize there are so many causes to consider right now, we hope our Kickstarter initiative inspires your support. we’ve gradually evolved Commend to accommodate our community, now we quicken the pace. the structural improvements we seek to fund found a better ground to connect w/ you, and w/o you we are lost. we look forward to sharing more about co-mend commend in this virtual space, and seeing you in our real space soon.
